The talks of Google's social media platform which failed terribly, Google , have been in the here since quite a while now. In fact, Google has confirmed the shutting down of G on 2nd of April this year.
But what you heard is not true. Yes, there is one more app which is going to say goodbye to the users soon, but it's not Gmail.
It is rather the Gmail Inbox app which Google is planning to shut down.
The app was introduced by Google in 2014 and it has many operations which made the e mailing easier for Gmail users.
Recently, however, the Inbox users received a notification saying the app will be shut down within 13 days. Although the specific date has not been declared, tech experts have prophecied the app to stop functioning along with Google on April 2, 2019.
Prior to the shut down, Google has shifted some of the features of the app to the main Gmail app. The app which was launched to increase the productivity of those who use mail services on a daily basis has made many email functions automated and easy. Some of these features like Smart Reply, Nudges, Inline Attachments, etc will be trasferred to Gmail, while many other important ones will be lost.
For those who wish to enjoy Inbox's services before it vanishes, the navigation of the app on Google Playstore has been made difficult. So you probably may not see Inbox ever if you don't have it already installed on your device.
