Kartik ***** and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi is based on the concept of live-in relationship, which, as you must be knowing, is not a well-received notion in India. So in a way, yea, it can be called a movie which dares to comment on Indian social situation which is still unable to digest various modern practices.

But if you dive deeper and watch the movie, you will find that all the claims are only superficial. In all its actuality, the movie ends up being nothing more than a usual Rom-Com, revolving around a love story which two lovers are trying to hide from their respective families that hold conservative beliefs.
What will interest you more than the overall story is the witty and funny dialogues, humorous scene sequences, and the satirical social commentary.
Star cast is dreamy. Along with the lead actors, Kriti Sanon and Kartik *****, Luka Chuppi has Aparshakti Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi adding their own flair in the romantic comedy. The situational comedy performed by all these actors will entertain you till the last second. But what you will feel missing is that extraordinary factor that would have used the chosen theme in a better way.
(Courtesy: The Indian Express)Coming to the story, it’s about the live-in relationship of a star reporter (played by Kartik *****) and an aspiring journalist (played by Kriti Sanon), who are hiding their relationship from their parents. Kriti Sanon’s father is a right-wing political leader who is propagating his ideology against the young lovers living together before their marriage. Kriti is an open-minded modern young woman who wants to explore her love relationship before getting married.

Logic can be found missing in some places, but overall it’s an okayish movie.
