The study of Agriculture or Agricultural sciences itself has a lot of branches of its own. So the region for this study should be chosen according to the branch you want to make your career in.

Every region and country has its own soil type, climate, and weather conditions and hence the Agricultural study programs in different countries work differently. So if you want to be a practicing agronomist in India, I would suggest you study Indian agriculture only.

Despite the fact that the soil in which you want to practice is the best for your study, there are a plethora of students going to Israel for studying Agriculture for a very specific and valid reason.

Countries like Vietnam, Myanmar, and Burma are sending their finest and most excellent young graduates to study Advanced Agriculture in Israel as the Palestinian nation has developed the techniques of growing crops and other food products of the international standards.

The researchers working on developing the agricultural techniques in the research centers like Ramat Negev in Israel are famously known as Agriculture Bible amongst the agronomists.
There are many reasons for the country being this much advanced in its agricultural techniques, the two being the main. First is that Israel is a young nation with a comparatively short line of traditions. So unlike the countries like India and France, the farmers there do not prefer the techniques used by their ancestors over those tested in labs. And this has indeed helped the country emerge as a global producer of crops. The second and more important reason is the arid soil and harsh climate of Israel which makes the work harder than other countries there.

Israel, over time, has developed a variety of scientific techniques, with the innovation and technology which is harnessed there fully. It is not news that the country stands among the top countries known for innovation and technology. Henceforth, it has agricultural techniques ranging from most basic to most advanced, which are helping students around the world to grow crops in the harshest of climates and toughest of conditions like lack of precipitation, water scarcity, hot summers, cold winters, etc.

Check here the list of various Departments in the best Agriculture colleges in Israel where you can take a course. All of them are best to study Agriculture.

Apart from this, Israel is known to have world-class universities, which rank very high in the list of top universities of the world. The plus point for foreign students there is that they don’t need to learn Hebrew, the official language of the country, to take up a course there.

Also known as the “start-up nation”, the country will never disappoint you as a student who is always coming up with new ideas and is ready to teach as well learn.
