UK: Chilly but mostly dry night in store for New Year’s Eve revelers

AccuWeather Meteorologist Alan Reppert stated: "It seems to be dry over quite a bit of southern and even focal England for New Year's Eve, however a feeble front pushing into Scotland could start a couple of showers, basically north of Leeds."

Firecrackers may confront delays because of the rain in Glasgow and even Belfast.

In the mean time, cloud could be an obstacle to shows more distant south.

Reppert included: "Northern Wales into Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds will see some more in the method for mists into New Year's Eve night."

A light breeze in Wales and southern England may prompt smoke from firecrackers hanging close to the ground, perhaps restricting the perspective of a few shows.
