I would like to explain to you what I would have liked somebody to explain to me several years ago when I was gazing at a bright bottle of so-called fat burners and I believed that this was the piece of the jigsaw puzzle that was missing.
Initially, the capsules used to seem like a cheat code. They provided my body with some super hot warmth, a small gush of energy, or almost like I had just necked two coffees without a meal. This was followed by the not-so-sweet side of it.
1. Jitters
I shook my hands during meetings. My fingers had the excessive caffeine feel whenever I attempted to type. Fat burners are based on stimulants, and this was an easy side effect.
2. Racing heart
On some occasions, I would sit in motionless silence and my heart would beat like a wild animal that had just run up a hill. It was not so bad but bad enough to make me reconsider something.
3. Sleep problems
I usually slept with a very busy head whirling even when I badly needed sleep. My body was fatigued and yet energized, as the switch could not completely switch off.
4. Stomach drama
My digestive system did not react favorably. There are those who experience nausea, cramps or the urge to use the bathroom urgently. I had the entire gamut of symptoms.
5. Mood swings.
Once the stimulant high worn off, I would come down crashing; irritable, tired, in that foggy, leave me to myself feeling.
And this is the challenge I had not thought
As soon as I ceased taking them, the promised results did not work. I was soon back to my usual rhythm in my body, and I knew that the gadgets were not wizardry, just a jumbly and bicepy distraction of the actual task.
Naturally everyone reacts differently to it. Others experience milder ones, others have more intense ones and some underlying conditions may render the side effects riskier. When anything seems not right heart issues, breathing difficulties, dizziness then it is better to talk to a physician rather than push.
When you consider using fat-burning pills, then do it with your eyes shut. It is not all gloom and doom, and neither is it the easy way out the labels are trying to make it out to be. Loding prompted me to the discovery that gradual habitual practices brought me much more success than the capsules themselves ever achieved... and none of them had me up at 2 a.m.
