Any goal, whether it's 1 or an infinite number (which, by the way, is an awesome number), should be about attaining something that's important to YOU. There are numerous stages that, if performed correctly, will almost always lead to success. As a result, they are intelligent objectives.

Think about it. What are you trying to achieve in your life? What is your goal for the day, week, month, year, decade?
The answer is complicated. Your goals should be tailored to you and what you want out of life. Here are three examples of things that would qualify as smart goals:
1) Have an interview at a new company this month. 2) Write 1500 words every day so I reach my goal of 10,000 by the end of the year 2017-2018. 3) Turn off all electronics after 2 hours in order in order to reduce stress levels in my household and improve sleep quality for myself and my children.

It can be tough to know how to get from where you are now to where you want to be. In general, a smart goal is a goal that has been written down and given action steps. It is an explicit statement of what the person wants, and it often has a timeframe indicating when the goal should or must be achieved. The key idea behind this is that goals must have specific aims in order for them to work effectively-they should have goals that are obtainable with actionable steps taken every day.
