JEE exams stand for Joint Entrance examination is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till the year 2018. JEE Main Exams are applicable for NITs, CFTIs & IITs admission. This exam is applicable to the candidates participating via Central Seat Allocation Board subject with one condition that the candidate must be able to secure at least 75% marks in the 12th State Board exams. But the CBSE has made some amendments in the IIT JEE exams for the year 2019. Some of the changes are: 1. The first sessions of the exams will be held in a computer-based format. 2. There is a discussion about computer-based format but this year too HRD ministry may hold exams in paperpen format since many students in the rural areas don’t have proper internet connection or computer facilities. 3. Exams will be conducted using scientific as well as psychometric testing models. This means students will have to concentrate more on their syllabus rather than solving past papers. 4. CBSE will not conduct the exams anymore. They will conduct National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Advanced will be continued. Many more changes have been made. These are some of the points changed by the CBSE boards.
