Social media can be bad for the growing up children as they take away time from a students life.In the adolescent period there is a lot of curiosity in children to know about many things and the social media give access to offensive images and videos which can be detrimental to their growth.The children can be lured into bad friendships in the virtual world who can turn out to be abusers or cheats.In the social media platform there is no personal connection with the people we meet online and the children can meet frauds and end up in criminal or cyber crimes.

There are plenty of them. Starting from health to studies. A child who remians busy on social media is less aware about its surroundings. He pays less attention towards his loved one including parents and siblings. He has less friends from society. He opts to live in realm of internet and physical world does not charm him. The basic and the most common disadvantage of Social media is that it creates addiction very fast. It can even weaken their eyesight as well as can damage their mental health.
