Performance:
The RS 6 Avant’s 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine is dynamic, high-torque, and highly efficient (due to cylinder on demand technology). When required, four of the eight cylinders are deactivated, with no perceptible difference except the reduction in fuel consumption.
For the RS 6 Avant performance, the engine power has been increased by 33 kW (45 PS) to 445 kW (605 PS). The over boost function offers a temporary torque increase of 50 Nm, up to a maximum of 750 Nm.
