Chandrayaan-3 has important goals:

1. Show that a spacecraft can safely land on the bumpy moon. It's hard because the moon has lots of holes and things that can hurt the spacecraft. Chandrayaan-3 will use a new engine called the Vikram Lander Ascent Engine (VLE) to help it land safely.

2. Show that a small car-like thing, called Pragyaan, can drive around on the moon. Pragyaan has six wheels and can go up to 500 meters on the moon's surface. It will do science experiments to learn about the moon's rocks and air.

3. Do science experiments on the moon. Chandrayaan-3 has tools to study the moon's surface, air, and what's inside it. This will help scientists understand how the moon was made and how it changed over time.

Chandrayaan-3 is a big deal for India. It's their third mission to the moon, and it will be the first to land on the moon's south pole. If it works, it will make India a leader in moon exploration.
