The “Not Secure” warning in Google Chrome appears when a website does not use HTTPS or has a missing, expired, or invalid SSL certificate.

It can also show if a secure site loads unsafe (HTTP) content, or if forms ask for personal information without encryption.

Chrome shows this warning to protect users from data theft and security risks.
