This is one of the types of intelligence that manifest itself in the management of abstract symbol. As a nodal point, it would include all types of verbal activities, science, mathematics- any field where thought is carried out with non-concrete objects. In general, abstract intelligence is found in persons regarded as bookworm. Our society has tended to lock on such persons as impractical and rather self-centered, living in an ‘ivory tower’ removed from reality. The materialistic quality of today’s society’s value scenario has led to this stereotype for people who operate primarily on an abstract plane. The sample truth, however is that they are the ones who produce for society, and their products often have far-reaching and long-range consequences. The fact that society does not always reap the harvest of these products immediately is often due more to society’s lag than to the abstract thinker’s lack of realism. Viewpoint about ‘eggheads’ in recent years (the highly academic and studious personality). Well, abstract thinker’s can really enjoy what they produce and simultaneously people wont understand it.
These people are the one who usually think outside the box! And can probably contribute something significant to the society.
