The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India administers the CTET exam. Teaching professionals with five years of experience and graduates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline except computer science, as well as those with any other NCTE-recognized teacher qualification. The CTET exam is used to recruit teachers for elementary level classrooms (1st – 4th grade) in government schools across India as well as private schools that follow the CBSE criteria and are connected with it or seek affiliation with it.
