From what I’ve understood recently, ISO 42001 is a standard specifically designed for managing AI systems within organizations. It provides a structured framework to ensure that AI is developed and used responsibly, focusing on transparency, risk management, and ethical practices. I came across this while researching AI governance trends, and it’s gaining attention because businesses are under pressure to use AI safely. It’s similar to how ISO standards work in other areas, but this one is tailored for AI. Companies adopting it are basically setting clear rules for how their AI systems operate. With increasing regulations around AI, this kind of compliance is likely to become more common.
