When Lamar Hunt moved his group to Kansas City and renamed them the Kansas City Chiefs they played in an old baseball arena named Municipal Stadium. The then current home of the Kansas City A's. Along the outfield from the foul line to right focus they raised brief grandstands. The individuals who sat in them were very voiceterous, boisterous and unpleasant. They considered them the Wolf Pack. The boss utilized a pony to run the field called WarPaint after touchdowns. In 1989 the Chiefs needed a character that would be increasingly helpful for kids. They developed K C Wolf to respect the first wolf pack. He has become a symbol of the city.
