Throughout the years, India has found success in cricket, across all formats. Records have been made and broken. One of the records India has under their belts is having one of the highest opening partnerships for India outside the subcontinent. This was way back in the year 2006, on the 13th of January against arch-rivals, Pakistan. India put an opening partnership of 410 in Lahore, Pakistan. The opening combination for India in that test match was Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid. Virender Sehwag scored a brilliant double century, finishing with a score of 254 off just 247 balls. Rahul Dravid on the other hand played in a very defensive manner, but put up a brilliant century staying not out on 128 of 233 balls. That test match eventually ended in a draw.
Whenever these two teams have clashed together, we have seen a cracker of a match.
