Kumbh Mela is a religious Hindu festival where millions of devotees from all around the world gather to bathe in the sacred river. It is the largest gathering of pilgrims on the Earth. Sadhus, Saints, Ascetics, and various other groups of people come together to celebrate the religious festival. It is believed that one who takes a dip in the waters of the holy rivers attains moksha. It drives away all their sins and they are blessed by the divine.

Hey, Please tell me that Kumbh is your zodiac sign according to western system or Kumbh is your Rashi according to Kundli. I mean you considered Kumbh because you born in between 20th January to 20th February? or Kumbha Mela is a mass Hindu journey of confidence wherein Hindus assemble to wash in a sacrosanct or blessed stream. Generally, four fairs are broadly perceived as the Kumbh Melas: the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, Haridwar Kumbh Mela, the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha, and Ujjain Simhastha.

Kumbh-Mela derives its name from two words: - 'Kumbh', meaning the eternal pot of nectar and Mela meaning "Fair". It is said in the fight between the deities and Demons for the pot containing the nectar of immortality produced by their joint churning of the milky ocean, few drops of nectar fell from the heavenly planet (Where the fight took place) to four places on earth. So, Kumbh Mela is held at these four places: - Allahabad (Prayag), Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik, once in every 12 years.

The purity of the body + Purity of the mind + Purity in prayer = Purity of the soul.

So, Kumbh Mela or any celebration in Hinduism cannot be initiated without bathing or purifying the soul.
