The most expensive thing in India is said to be Mukesh Ambani's house, the Antilia. The Antilia is named after an island which is from the 15th century, Spanish tales and is named Atlantic Ocean Antillia. It is located in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The construction of Antilia was completed in the year 2010 and the Ambani family moved into it between the years 2011 and 2012. As far as the cost of Antilia is concerned, then that goes to approximately $2.00 billion USD (Rs. 1,64,06,90,00,000.00). The area of the Antilia is 4,532 m^2 and it is 173 m high. It has 27 floors to it. The architects and the designers who built and designed the Antilia are Chicago-based firm called Perkins & Will and Santa Monica-based interior design firm, Hirsch Bedner Associates.
