Kinetic Façade is a technology created by "a team of American and Swiss engineers" with funding from the Swiss Fonds Spéciaux pour la Recherche Industrielle and the National Science Foundation in the United States. It is intended to function as an energy-generating building exterior: Wind, solar, heat, and sound vibrations all contribute to the generation of electricity via Kinetic Façades.
The systems are composed of electromagnetic wind volute that can be angled down to gather sunlight at various heights or changed to take in even more air whenever it's windy outdoors.
