The process of transformation of transferring a word from alphabet of one language to another is known as Transliteration. It helps us in pronunciation of words and names in the foreign language. It is different from translation as it just gives you the idea about how the word is pronounced, by just putting it into familiar alphabet. In Transliteration the original word is put into the similar sounding words in different language.
