BJP leader and the competitor of Rahul Gandhi for Amethi constituency, Smriti Irani as given a new verbal blow to Congress, which should not be surprising as Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are just round the corner. While addressing a public gathering in Amethi, Smriti Irani claimed that Rahul Gandhi has ditched the youth of Amethi by making hollow promises. She said the Congress leader has wronged the public of Amethi.

Rahul Gandhi is fighting this year’s Lok Sabha elections from two constituencies –his traditional constituency Amethi, and Kerala’s Wayanad. She emphasized on the fact that the person who was fighting from Amethi since last 15 years, is inclining his loyalties towards another constituency only to get in power.
According to Smriti Irani, Rahul Gandhi has wronged his followers in Amethi. She also says that now he has very few followers left in the constituency. According to Irani, fighting the elections from two constituencies is an insult to the public of those constituencies, and Rahul Gandhi is insulting the public by doing so. It is the insult of both the constituency and the public. On the behalf of the public of Amethi, she added that Amethi will avenge this insult, giving it back to Gandhi.
In all saying all this, she forgot that even Narendra Modi fought the last Lok Sabha Elections from two constituencies –one that of Gujarat, and one UP’s constituency, Varanasi.
