It’s a general perception that preparing dinner consumes hours, and perfecting it is a long process. But there are many such dishes which can break this myth. They are tasty, easy to make, and less time consuming.

One of these dishes is whole-grain spaghetti. Since it is nutritious, it can be prepared often –even for your dinner parties, it’s not a bad option.

• A bunch of Kale (with stems removed and leaves cut)
• 1 medium onion (Sliced thinly)
• 2 cloves garlic (Chopped)
• 2 grape tomatoes (halved)
• 1/3 cup roasted almonds (Chopped)
• ¼ cup pecorino (Grated)*
• Salt -1/4 cup
• Pepper -1/8 teaspoon

Method:

• Boil the pasta, pour ¼ of the water in a separate bowl and drain the rest.
• Heat the oil in a pan.
• Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper. Cook until the mixture becomes light brown. Stir occasionally.
• Add the Kale and cook. Keep tossing occasionally, until the leaves get tender.
• Add tomatoes, toss, and cook.

Serve hot with some more pecorino and sauce.

*Use normal cheese if pecorino is not available.

Mac and Cheese is the best getaway from the dinners that take long hours and a lot of effort.

Ingredients:

Macaroni: 1 pound
Salt: According to taste
Evaporated milk: 1 can
Butter: 3 tablespoons
Cheddar: 3 cups

Method:

Put the macaroni, salt and 4 cups of water in a pressure cooker and keep it on gas for four minutes.

After the steam is released, open the lid of the pressure cooker.

Stir the macaroni in the evaporated milk, butter and 1/4 cup water. Then add the Cheddar, a little at time, while constantly stirring, until the cheese is completely melted. Serve hot.
