Controlling anger is one of the most difficult things for many of us. Also, anger is that one thing which harms the one who is angry before harming anyone else. Extreme anger can even limit your power of thinking and understanding.
Why do we get angry?
We know that all human beings are made up differently. They think differently and have different mindsets. So it’s obvious that when two people of different mindsets meet, some conflicts are bound to arise and that may result in the conflicting parties getting angry. Disagreements with each other is one of the major causes of anger. Other causes include an inability to understanding each other’s viewpoints, being dissatisfied, etc.
How to control anger:
• Every day in the morning, offer water mixed with vermillion, rice, and flowers to the Sun.
• When you wake up in the morning, touch and greet the earth with your hands before keeping your feet on it.
• Don’t keep red-colored things in your house. Bed sheets, curtains, walls, etc. should not have a red color. Red symbolizes anger.
• Keep something made up of silver in your purse. It is auspicious and regulates anger.
• Keep water filled in a conch shell at night and drink it in the morning.
• On every full moon day, prepare Kheer, offer it to the moon, and then eat it.
