Preparing for the CAPM exam was less about cramming and more about staying consistent and understanding the concepts behind the processes. What worked best for me was breaking the syllabus into small, manageable sections and studying a little every day instead of trying to do everything at once.

I focused heavily on understanding the PMBOK framework rather than memorizing it blindly. Creating my own short notes and flowcharts really helped connect the dots between processes, inputs, and outputs. I also made it a habit to revise regularly, especially the tricky areas like formulas and process groups.

Practice tests were a game-changer. They not only helped me get comfortable with the exam format but also showed me where I was going wrong. Instead of getting discouraged by low scores initially, I used them as a learning tool.

Lastly, consistency and a calm mindset made all the difference. Even on days when I didn’t feel like studying much, I made sure to review something small. Over time, that added up and built confidence before the exam.
