Personally, I think Delhi Daredevils has disappointed me the most. And many people would feel mutual to that. The team has never qualified for the finals in the history of IPL. And if I remember correctly, it has onlygoneto thequarterfinalonce in the first season. Since then, DD has been performing poorly.

There have been countless shuffles in the team and management of the Delhi Daredevils and it seems they can’t find the right combination. Even Gary Kristen joined the team as the coach and the team performed poorly. Now, Australia cricket legend Ricky Pointing is associated with the franchise, along with other big names and DD is still performing the same.

Gautam Gambhir has stepped down as the captain following his bad performance. Shreyas Iyer is the new skipper who, an incredible player, just lacks the right amount of experience to lead a team in such highly competitive league. Also, over the years, the line-up of DD hasn’t been consistent. There hasn’t been one single name that led the team from the front. For example, like Dhoni is to CSK, Kohli for RCB, Dhawan for SRH, Uttappa to KKR, and Rahane to Rajasthan Royals, there is no one for Delhi.

All in all, Delhi Daredevils, much like in the past decade, has disappointed the fans in IPL 10 the most. And given how devotedly people support them, it becomes even worse. Even with amajorreshuffle in the team and good players like Maxwell in his team, they are at the bottom of the table. With all that’s happening, I hope they don’t play IPL next season and just quit.
