Birju maharaj is a singer, dancer and the exponent of the Lucknow "Kalka-Bindadin".He was born on 4 February 1937 in handia his whole generation are from kathak dance which includes his two uncles shambhu and lachhu maharaj he has five children but he had a disease of of kidney and diabetes and recently he died because of heart attack on 17 January 2022 in delhi he was one of the best kathak dancer india can ever produce.
