The former holder of the title of Little Master was Sunil Gavaskar. He is a former cricketer of Indian cricket team and now a commentator. He is a well known batsman from his era and holds the world record for scoring the highest score in test matches. He is also known as the best opening batsman. Gavaskar has served the country, he is a former sheriff. Sachin Tendulkar, one of the best cricketers of Indian cricket team, has inherited the name from his master as Little Master but is known more as Master blaster.
