Shkar Singh Dhami (born September 16, 1975) is the 10th and present Chief Minister of Uttarakhand as well as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2012 and 2017, he was elected to the Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha representing Khatima. In 2021, he was named Chief Minister for the very first time. He lost his seat in the 2022 elections, but BJP MLAs re-elected him as Chief Minister. Since the state's inception, he has been the only Chief Minister to win a second term in office.
