From what I’ve learned at work, ISO 22301 is mainly for organizations that need strong business continuity planning. Companies dealing with critical operations, like IT services, finance, healthcare, benefit the most. Even mid-sized businesses are now considering it because disruptions can happen anytime. It’s not limited to big corporations; any organization that wants to ensure smooth operations during crises can implement it. In my company, discussions started after a few unexpected disruptions. So honestly, if downtime affects your revenue or reputation, this standard becomes quite relevant.
