Why brand voice matters?

A brand is all about telling a story – one that captures the essence of your business and shows customers why they should choose you. But what if your story has two voices? Brands with multiple entities, like Coca-Cola for example, often have a separate voice for their company (or big) social media account while also having more human-sounding accounts for individual products. So, which is the "real" voice? The brand's voice or the product's voice? If your name is Coca-Cola, it can't be both. So why do we even need a separate brand and product voice at all?

As marketers, we often get so wrapped up in the numbers when marketing our brands that we often forget what a brand actually is: the intangible reasons why customers believe in your business. That's why defining your brand voice can be so tricky – it's not easily measurable. It's also not easy to create one "perfect" brand identity that everyone believes in and loves.Article image
