Why India needs Dhoni in the 2019 World Cup?

India won its second world cup under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. So, having him on the team can be crucially helpful for the rest in the World Cup 2019.

He has a vast experience of playing under such difficult conditions. He knows what it takes to win such high-stake matches. To that, having played so many matches for years and being the senior-most player in the squad, he would know what distinct strategies the team can take against individual competitors. This can play in our favor.

Also, let’s not forget, rather like Tendulkar when he was on the team, MS Dhoni brings psychological advantage to the team. Just having him onboard can impact opponents psychologically. I mean, while some may contend this, but Dhoni stands as one of the biggest names in the Indian cricket history.

And besides, although Virat Kohli is the world’s best player today, he usually needs Dhoni by his side to lead the team well. He might be the captain of the team, he certainly isn’t the boss. ;)

Be it in advising Kohli, strengthening the middle-lower batting line or taking the team out of trouble situations with sensible batting—MS Dhoni is the name India needs on the team if we are to win the World Cup 2019.

Letsdiskuss Every cricket playing nation is preparing for the 12th edition of the Cricket world cup which will be help from 30th May 2019 to 14th July 2019 in England. It will be hosted by England and Wales. There will be 10 teams who will participate in this edition.

Indian team is looking forward to win the world cup for the third time. Kapil Dev first got us world cup in 1983 and M.S. Dhoni in 2011. 2015 India lost in Semi final while playing against Australia. Already cricket fans are speculating about the players and selector's choices. The one name which India will definitely have in its player's list is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

While playing an international tournament every country should have experienced player in its team. M.S. Dhoni is the topper in Indian team while considering experience. Apart from playing ho got us our second world cup.

During knock outs a team should have players who have experienced the pressures and can manage the team coolly. Captain Cool is known for his calmness during the pressure.

Even though Virat Kohli is the captain of the Indian team, M.S. Dhoni openly helps him in setting the fielders and advising the bowlers. Virat Kohli also accepts Dhoni's intervention without ego. During world cup we will definitely need both of these player's combined captainship

M.S. Dhoni's batting is not good as it used to be. But his keeping is wonderful as ever. No one can match his wicket keeping quality. India won the matches by his lightning-quick stumping, amazing run outs, and wonderful catches. So he will be a much needed asset while India fielding.

M.S. Dhoni is the best captain of ODI and test cricket. He is the only captain in the history who won 3 ICC tournaments. Moreover still he is the fittest player of the Indian team at his age. Let us wish our Indian team All the best in their upcoming world cup.
