why Indians films couldnt get Oscar till now?

I don't consider Oscar Awards as a benchmark for quality film, yet I'd have a go at noting this one:

There are various explanations for India's dull presentation at the Oscars -

1. Absence of inventiveness and frail story line

2. Tunes, Songs, Songs

3. Poor determinations of cast

4. Concentrate on star control as opposed to substance
