International Beer Day is mainly celebrated to appreciate beer as a drink and the people behind it from brewers to bartenders. It’s also a fun way for friends to get together and enjoy different styles of beer. The idea started as a small celebration but grew into a global event, and now it’s observed on the first Friday of August every year. It’s really more about the social experience and culture around beer than anything else.
