The population control Act refers to the bill introduced by the Rajya Sabha to control the ongoing and expanding population of India. It was implemented in July 2019. The 2019 Act states the two- child policy and whoever doesn't follow the same will be ineligibile for government jobs and for contesting elections. The amendment of the constitution results another bill 2020 that proposes to have only two child per couple for better financial conditions and oppurtunities. It is necessary in India because it's population is growing like a wood fire.

I believe a population control law is necessary in India because rapid population growth puts pressure on jobs, resources, healthcare, and education. Limiting family size can help improve living standards, reduce unemployment, and allow the government to plan better for future development.
