Why Rahul Gandhi targets PM Modi over Rafale deal?

Rahul Gandhi is forever coming of age politician, he was maturing in 2004 and still is in 2018. His supporters sure are some loyal folk to be sticking around him even after series of failures in election & ofcourse how can we forget his skill of public speaking?

Since 2019 election is almost on doorstep, every party is gauging its prospects, to ally or fight election alone but where is Congress? Rahul Gandhi led so called “National Party” is struggling to stitch up a national alliance with regional parties.

None of the parties except for RJD have publicly accepted Rahul Gandhi to be the fictional alliance’s PM candidate, they are floating Banerjee name for the top job while Maratha leader Sharad Pawar is also salivating for the post and Pogo lover is no where to be found.

So from time to time Gandhi makes sensational claims in public to keep himself relevant, more like his long lost buddy Kejriwal. Till last year he was using death of Justice Loya, before it was Demonetization and GST.

Rahul Gandhi claims the aircraft was listed at x amount when his party was in power but Modi Government is buying them at exuberant prices and the money is going to Ambani.

If his Government had the chance to buy the jets at those prices, then why didn’t he? He had all the time in the world

His Government went through a middle man on the other hand Modi Government has changed the deal to Government to Government killing every chance of commission.

Recently I saw him sharing an article which claimed former President has sought out Ambani in deal process so that his girlfriend can be a lead actress under Ambani production.

Gandhi then claimed Government is hiding the facts deliberately and he was told personally by French President that there was no binding agreement forbidding Indian Government to disclose the details about the deal which was then clarified by French that there in fact was deal signed by UPA in 2008.

So Gandhi is trying way too hard to declare Rafale a scam and at one instance Congress’ twitter handle claimed this was bigger scam than Bofors! For years Congress has been claiming there was never a Bofors scam now this!!

Inspite of the military wanting to keep the transaction in the dark from the public, Rahul Gandhi is trying to declassify this transaction for his own political interest which might cause instability in the future. After the image of the Congress party was tarnished in 2014 (because of people being aware of the scams by the party), Congress has started to be desperate to drag other parties along with it in the same mud. According to the Congress party, if the image of their opponents are tarnished in the same fashion as their's, it would boost their image thereafter in the coming elections, however, PM Narendra Modi seems to have planned way ahead, to which he spoke in the parliament addressing all the matters voiced by Rahul Gandhi and gave an elaborate, point-to-point answer regarding the Rafale deal.

Despite knowing that these files were supposed to remain classified (Congress was in power for 10 years after the transaction), Rahul Gandhi tried to extract more information from the French President, embarrassing the country in front of foreigners. The French country us not supposed to declassify this deal either according to the agreement. Rahul Gandhi shamelessly started talking about this deal in front of the entire parliament even though the session was being broadcasted live by many channels and have access to such information. This sign of immaturity of Rahul Gandhi is the sole reason why his party is suffering so much ever since he became the Vice President of the Congress.
