Krishnamachari Srikkanth, who is more commonly known by his nickname, Cheeka. He is former Indian cricketer who made his international debut for India, in an ODI match against England on the 27th of November, 1981. He bid adieu to cricket on the 15th of March, 1992 in an ODI match against South Africa. Srikkanth was also played a very important part in helping India win the 1983 World Cup. Throughout the tournament, Srikkanth scored a total of 156 runs in the 8 matches that he played for India. He was most famously known for his aggressive game along with his fellow opener, Sunil Gavaskar. Both of them together, destroyed the other teams' bowling attacks and got India off to a good start more often than not.
