High blood pressure is also known as hypertension, can lead to chronic heart diseases and stroke. It is a very dangerous condition.
Following are the ways to reduce blood pressure :-
1.EXERCISE REGULARLY
Exercise is the best way to reduce blood pressure. Aerobic exercises like running, walking, jogging, swimming, cycling and other physical activities can help you lower your blood pressure. A person should walk for at least 30 minutes in a day.
2.STRESS MANAGEMENT
Chronic stress may contribute to high blood pressure. Finding ways to reduce your own stress is important for your blood pressure. Some ways to reduce stress can be like take a walk, read a book, listen to soothing music or do meditation.
3.QUIT SMOKING
Cigarette smoking increases your blood pressure. Quitting smoking can reduce your risk of heart disease. People who quit smoking may live longer than people who never quit smoking.
4.EAT HEALTHLY DIET
Take calcium rich foods like milk, yoghurt, cheese, etc. You should prefer potassium rich fruits like banana, orange etc. and low sodium (salt) intake. Eating dark chocolate can help you to reduce blood pressure. You should cut down sugars from your diet.Smiley face
