Love is an integral part of any relationship and so it is important to have underlying love in a marriage. But that is not the only factor for survival of successful marriages .If we only consider love as the reason of marriage then once that love is over marriages too stops to cease. May be that is one reason there are so many divorces happening in the modern society.Expectation from partners are hitting sky high. There is so much of infidelity and lack of compatibility in marriages right now .Why,what could be the reason for this sudden changes in the marriage as an institution? Lack of trust and understanding or is it because of the lack of time invested in the marriage? Then what happened to the love before marriage?

In many countries and cultures there were marriages happening without even meeting of the boy and girl in the earlier days. That marriages survived too.in a much better way than the marriages of modern times. In those times love happened after marriages out of mutual respect and understanding of partners.

Love in a marriage is very important to sustain a relationship .But if it is only love for a person that drives you into marriage it may not last for a long time unless you are ready to sacrifice anything even your self respect for love. You cannot be a ***** in a relation just for the sake of keeping the marriage going.Stay in it without losing your own identity, self esteem or individuality and that would be more healthier.

Love will keep changing over the years, the initial euphoria ,attraction ,craze and desire will slowly die down in any beautiful relationship as human emotions keeps transforming over time.If there is commitment, respect, trust ,communication and understanding along with love for the person that transition in the relation will be smoother and change into an everlasting one ,where you will not be able to think about living apart or without each other. All this will not happen with love alone but with lot of other emotions that is mutual like giving, patience ,forgiving, gratefulness and selflessness.

Love is a major factor in many marriages, but it's not always a good one. Sometimes love keeps relationships going for years, while other times it manifests itself as infidelity or lack of communication. Love doesn't last forever, and sometimes that’s what makes love so beautiful. Love is important to marriage and an integral part of the journey together; yet it can also cause us to chase after someone else if we're not careful—just like with any human emotion. How much do we want the love in our relationships to last?

Is love important for marriage? We say yes! And here's why.

People often talk about how much they love their spouse and how they couldn't imagine their life without them. But what about the other way around? Do we ever wonder if our spouse loves us the same? Well, there are many ways to tell. Sometimes, even a loving wife may notice subtle changes between her and her significant other that she can't put her finger on — but that have an impact on their marriage in a big way: things like more snarkiness or less romance. The most obvious sign is when your spouse starts to act differently in front of others.

"Love is important for marriage, but it's not always a good one."

It is important for everyone to have a person in their lives to maintain the balance in life. It is important to understand the meaning of love in a marriage. Here is a great example for you which can make anyone understand the importance of love in a marriage.

Mr, Jonas and his wife Carla has been married since 15 years and this is what he quotes!

My wife and I have been together for over 15 years. We have four kids and many life experiences. I still think about some of them every day, whether it be our oldest son who was diagnosed with autism at the age of three (last year) or when he could finally say his three most favorite words: "I love you." We've always had enough love in our relationship to fuel us toward many new challenges and adventures—but sometimes it does get in the way.
