Orzo is a fun rice-shaped pasta that adds a nice twist to meals. It can be used to substitute just about any grain and makes a fun addition to pilaf and risotto-style dishes but it really shines when added to salads.
HOW TO COOK ORZO
Orzo is cooked just like pasta noodles. For one pound of orzo (which feeds four people) just follow these instructions:
Fill up a pot with 4 liters of water
Cover, cook over high heat and bring to a boil
Add salt and follow the cooking time suggested on the package
Drain and add to your desired dish
