There is no specific drug to prevent coronavirus. You can prevent it by increasing your immune system and by eating healthy foods.
There is no approved drug that can reliably prevent coronavirus infection instead of vaccination. Some monoclonal antibody therapies were tested for pre-exposure prevention, but many lost effectiveness as the virus evolved and are no longer authorized. Early treatment with antiviral medicines like nirmatrelvir-ritonavir (Paxlovid) and remdesivir can reduce the risk of severe COVID-19 illness when taken soon after infection, but they don’t replace vaccines for prevention. Research has explored immune-based agents and other compounds, but vaccines remain the most effective preventive strategy; other drugs may help manage disease severity rather than wholly prevent infection.
