Andon is a key component of lean manufacturing and is used to understand the problems. TOYOTA production System was used Andon. Andon can be considered as the real time visual indicator focusing on issues with the specific goal of finding long-term solutions to solve them as they arise. Andon is a lean approach to better handling production-related problems.
