In order to get positive feedback from peers or students about the teaching training and development of faculties and to get reviews of teachers, the teaching sessions are recorded. It helps in knowing what development can be made in teaching procedure. The method, micro-teaching, was invented in 1963 at Stanford University. This technique has been successful in the development of educators. The main aim of micro-teaching is preparing the teachers for real classroom sessions.

The technique in which teacher candidates are trained to face the real classroom is known as micro teaching.It is basically a faculty development technique. In micro teaching the teacher candidates are recorded and reviewed by the teachers, who train them to handle the real classroom. Through this technique the candidates are informed about the improvement that are required to make in their teaching and improvements have been already made in their technique.
