Software as a service(SaaS) is a software distributing model where the third party provider hosts application and make them available for a customer over the internet. Saas is the category of cloud computing. There are three main categories in cloud computing is Software as a service(Saas), infrastructure as a service(IaaS), Platform as a service(PaaS). SaaS is closely related to an application service provider(ASP).
