People these days are busy, always engrossed in their work, and in hurry all the time. Today’s rational minded and busy people may not believe in horoscope, future prediction, planets, and astrology, but they still rest their belief in Vaastu Shastra. Vaastu Shastra has its believers worldwide even today.

While constructing home, people always consult Vaastu Shastra. Even they decorate houses and offices according to Vaastu Shastra. In India, Vaastu Shastra pre-decides the place of every room and compartment before the map of a house is made. Some people renovate their houses to incorporate suitable changes according to Vaastu Shaastra.

Chinese Vaastu Shastra however, is different from Indian Vaastu Shaastra. In China, it is known as Feng Shui. Feng Shui means wind and water, and it is famous worldwide. The accurate balance of wind and water is what Feng Shui is.
The major difference between Chinese and Indian Vaastu Shaastra is that in India, to chase away negative energy and vibes, you have to reconstruct your house or office in a certain way. While in China, negative energy is chased away by keeping bells, crystals, flutes, fish aquarium, water fountain, chandeliers, etc. These materials in house bring positive energy with them. This method is more effective and less expensive than its Indian counterpart. Feng Shui is the combination of all the five essential elements of nature –water, wood, fire, earth, and metal.
