Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is organized by CBSE every year. This is the first step towards your career in teaching. It is only after clearing this exam, that you become eligible for teaching.

CTET takes place twice a year. Candidates scoring 60% and above pass the Central Teacher Eligibilty Test. Moreover, passing the CTET examination does not ensure any job. However, this makes you eligible for teaching in government schools. The exam can be taken multiple times. If you have cleared the CTET but want to score even better in the exam, you can appear for it again.

The next CTET exam is on 16th September, 2018, Sunday.
