Cranes have a long history of use in construction and engineering. They have been used as simple lifting machines to move heavy objects, but today they are often used for the placement of large concrete beams, high-rise buildings, and even bridges.

The crane uses a boom that is powered by an engine or drive shaft and can be either cable driven or electrically powered. The boom has two ends that can swing around a central column like the fingers of your hand.

Cranes are essential in construction for lifting and moving heavy materials like steel beams, concrete, and large equipment, making tasks faster and more efficient.  They ensure safe and precise placement, boosting overall project productivity.
