For NEET PG 2026, students should mainly focus on final-year subjects such as Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Pediatrics because these usually carry higher weightage and are clinically oriented.

However, second-year subjects like Pathology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology are equally important since many questions are integrated and concept-based. A strong foundation in these subjects makes clinical problem-solving much easier.

First-year subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry should not be ignored either, as basic concepts are often tested in applied scenarios.

The key is to balance revision with regular practice of previous year questions and MCQs. Instead of studying everything at once, focus on understanding concepts and revising multiple times. Consistency matters more than just long study hours.
