Rani lakshmi bai was a maharani of Jhansi from 1843to 1853. She was the wife of maharaja gangadhar rao. Rani lakshmi bai was born on 19 November 1828 in Varanasi, India. When british captured the fort of Jhansi,Rani lakshmi Bai offered hardened resistance to the British forces and did not surrender even after her troops were flood . She was later killed in combat after having successfully strike Gwalior.She was killed on 18 june 1858 in Gwalior she is an inspiration of all man and woman both.
