Born on 8th july 1972 at Kolkata,Saurav Chandidas Ganguly is the former captain of Indian National Cricket team.He is also the commentator & current president of the Indian Board of Control.He is affectionately known as “ Dada” & honoured by the name “ Maharaja of Indian Cticket”.He is greatly remembered for his centuries in the partnership with Sachin Tendulkar i the ODI’s & his runs in with Greg Chapell.He married Dona Ganguly in 1977 & has a daughter named Sana Ganguly.
