Amul is one of the giants in the market of Milk Supply. Now, the company sending a legal notice to Google has stirred a controversy all over. This notice is in the interest of society and its own brand name.

The whole matter is related to some cons who misused Amul’s name to run their own paid Google ads. These people used the Amul Parlor and Franchise to tempt the customers and make money.

As soon as Amul got to know about the whole matter, it informed Google and sent them a notice.

In the ads, keywords like "Amul parlor", "Amul franchise", and "distributorship" were used, to make the readers think that the ad is by the dairy product giant itself. A click on the ad took the users to a form. The form required to call these users on a number, on which they were asked to pay a sum of around Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000. As soon as the sum was paid, the callers cut all the communication. This means that internet users were being duped in the name of Amul.

It is clear that the cons have made a large amount of money through this, and so has Google. So Amul, naturally, has sent a legal notice to Google, along with all the necessary documents, stating that whenever such a campaign is run, they should verify it with the company itself.
